My Story
I joined Scentsy in August 2011 after being out of work for two years. When my first child was born, I was laid off from my job. Prior to having my child, I had moved to Vancouver, WA. I didn't have family or friends in this new city. I joined a moms group where one of the moms sold Scentsy, which I had never heard of. After a few months of seeing how excited she was when talking about selling Scentsy products, I decided to see what it was all about. I always had scented candles around my house, but now my son was beginning to walk I didn't feel safe with candles burning. I thought this would be a good time to change my candles and see if Scentsy would make my house smell good, like the candles did.
I remember the day she brought me my package. I went home and quickly found a home for both warmers and put wax in right away. It didn't take long before I was hooked. That is when I decided that this would be a great way for me to make money and meet new people. I have met so many wonderful people over the years. I look forward to helping others who are looking for the same things I was: friends, extra income and best of all owning my own business. My goal is to help others, accomplish these same things.
